This project takes its name from a poem by Chinese poet Bai Juyi that speaks to our heart and mind. It is another step in a journey that began in the year 2000. Through it we wish to share information about Cuban art from both the island and its diaspora.

Archive of Cuban Art

Composed mainly of paintings, drawings and prints from the second half of the 20th century, the archive is a historical map of an art in crisis under the castrista dictatorship.

Art Practice

"Leaving homeland, parted from kin, banished to a strange place, I wonder my heart feels so little anguish and pain. Consulting Zhuangzi, I find where I belong: surely my home is there in Not-Even-Anything land.”
